The Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme as its name cleared it is a laptop which is made to face real world harsh situation. This laptop is drop- and dust-proof, and hardened against damage, and also comes with modern features, faster processor, touch screen, more graphics power, high security etc. It’s fast and tough enough to survive far, far away from the office. It’s what you want in your backpack while you’re, say, exploring for outside world.
Design and Features
The Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme is strongly built for soldiers on the battlefield and other special users, like police and fire departments. The tank-like construction is similar to the Dell Latitude E6420 XFR, though this is a newer chassis. It is a fully ruggedized laptop, and meant to survive harsher environments than the semi-rugged Dell Latitude E6430 ATG.

Talking about features a docking device connector on the bottom of the chassis is compatible with a desk dock or one mounted in a vehicle. Works great in all lighting conditions, you can easily stay focused on your screen. The Direct-View outdoor-readable display system is designed to reduce reflections, preserve contrast and conserve battery life.
