The new Mi Notebook Air will be a competitor of Mac Air Book. The company has launched 2 variants in China. With these laptops the company also launched Redmi Pro in the market.
The Mi Notebook comes in 2 variants. A 12.5-inch display variant priced at CNY 3,499 which is roughly 35500INR, and a 13.3-inch variant priced at CNY 4,999 which is roughly 51,400INR.
The Mi Notebook Air which comes with 13.3-inch screen has Full HD screen. Xiaomi claims to have the same display size, but 11-percent smaller body than the MacBook Air. Moreover, Laptop is much thinner than MacBook Air and thickness of Mi Notebook is 14.8mm. Even, the weight of Mi Notebook is less as compared to MacBook Air.
The laptop comes with Windows 10. The Laptop is powered by 6th gen Intel Core i5 processor, packed with Nvidia GeForce 940MX GPU with 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Battery life of the laptop is near about 9.5 hours and you can charge 50% battery in 30min.
Whereas the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air weighs about 1.07kg and is thinner than MacBook Air. It also has a full-HD display. Moreover, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor with 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SATA SSD alongside a second SSD slot. The laptop has 11.5 hours of battery life and you can charge 50% battery in 30 mins.
Xiaomi also concentrated on its looks as well as screen protection. The screen is laminated to reduce glare. The keyboard is full-sized with backlit keys. You can easily sync your phones with a notebook with MiSync.
