SAMSUNG ON5 PRO

PHONE August 11, 2016

The Samsung launched On5 Pro and On7 Pro in company budget Android smartphones meant exclusively for the Indian buyers. Both the phones are nearly identical to each other. On5 and On7 launched last year but got change in memory to 2GB and double the storage to 16GB.
Talking about design on the front is the display with an earpiece, front camera, and proximity sensor on the top and navigation keys below. The physical home button is flanked by two capacitive keys, which aren’t backlit
Both ON5 and ON7 phones come with a Samsung’s S bike mode and faux leather finish on the back end. With the competition in the lower price and of the smartphone segment getting increased, Samsung needs to put its best mobile phones forward. The On5 Pro doesn’t even come with the usual Microsoft bloatware pre-installed.
The sides of the phone are made out of solid aluminum but it is colred in a glossy paint that makes it look like there is a permanent clear film on it.
The Galaxy On5 Pro runs on Samsung’s Exynos 3 Quad with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz and Mali-T720 GPU. The camera on On5 Pro is mostly just there because there has to be one. The image quality is nothing to write great about; there isn’t enough detail in the image, the dynamic range is poor and the noise is too high so camera has of very poor quality.
Pros
• Decent display quality
• Samsung’s Touchwiz UI gives smooth touch experience
• Useful S Bike Mode, if you do a lot of bike riding

• Design is not best
• The texture on the back (emulating a leather like finish) give sticky feel
• No dedicated light sensor is there
• Average overall speed/performance
• Average quality front (selfie) camera
• No fingerprint, gyroscope sensor is their
