Vivo V3 is very good looking phone that looks like Apple iPhone in many features. It is so attractive that every person will love it.
Vivo V3 is a mid range phone at a cost of 16,290. You may think that the price is too much but lets look at features before making our minds.
Design & Display
The phone is light-weight at 138g with round edges. The phone feels good to hold this is due to its design. At the top there is 16MP camera and right below it there LED flash. Branding is scribbled in the center of the phone. On the Top of the branding, fingerprinting sensor has been placed. Edges of fingerprint sensor and LED have diamond cut bezel.
Audio jack is at top of the phone whereas USB jack is at the bottom. The only bad thing is navigation button with no backlight. Other than that design is great.
Vivo V3 is packed with 5 inch IPS LCD HD display. Being a 720p HD screen, you cannot easily differentiate its display quality with the phones having full HD screen. The display is very bright, it is clear even when viewed under sunlight. We had to constantly wipe it clean during our day-to-day usage due to fingerprint magnet.
User Interface, Memory, and Storage
Vivo V3 runs on Forked Android OS Funtouch wit base version of 5.1.1 Android Lollipop. Although company has announced marshmallow update too. UI does not lag at any point and works very smoothly.
UI of the phone is very similar to iOS and that’s why you will feel like operating an iPhone. Control toggles are provided on swipe up which is same as iOS.
The one thing that cling to my mind that even being ranged at this price range, no IR blaster has been provided.
Gestures and features like Smart wake, double tap to turn off screen, double click to light, light screen when out of pocket, and many more are enhancing the UI control features. You can also configure what the ‘Volume down’ button would do on long pressing it when the display is off and this feature is called as smart click by vivo.
The phone comes in 2 ROM variants- 16 GB and 32 GB. Memory can be expanded upto 256GB and loaded with 3 GB RAM.
Speakers are very loud and even can be heard in heavy traffic. Vivo V3 performs well and you can easily run maximum games without heating and lagging problem.
Vivo has delivered all the promises what they talked about.
V3 is shipped with a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus. Various modes have been provided like HDR, Panorama, Night, PPT, Motion Track etc. An 8MP front camera is provided to take more detailed selfies.
Photographs taken in Daylight are good and it works as all decent phone cameras work. Photos taken are low light are also great with good detailing. This is where Vivo gained points from other phones. Cameras are very good at this price.
Vivo V3 packs a 2550 mAh battery which will easily last you a day on full charge with regular usage. But if you will play games then it will drain quickly.
I will say that if you are looking for a good phone then you can look at Vivo V3. You can consider it buying as it is wort buying.
