Big Dog Motorcycles is now going to launch its bikes in India. Never heard of them before? Well, it is an American motorcycle brand. It is also the world’s largest custom bike manufacturer, that’s made a name for itself building high performance on-road cruisers and choppers. Big Dog Motorcycles has announced its entry into the Indian market.
Big Dog Motorcycles will also offer premium customization options for customers to get their motorcycles build up into niche choppers with various accessory fitment options. This will include items from a diverse collection like additional seat, sissy bars, exotic seats, drag pipes, stator& rotor kits, as well as wider tyres.
The red specimen you see above is the K9 Red Chopper – 111, a one of its kind motorcycle that the company has made its India-debut with. The K9 breathes through an 1807cc, 45-degree V-twin engine from S&S Superslider, teamed with six-speeder. It is a hefty thing with a curb weight of 304kg and spanning over 2700mm in overall length. It gets 21-inch rims in the front and 18-inch ones at the back, enhancing its distinguished body design.

Founder of Big Dog Motorcycles (BMC), Samar Sodhi said, “For decades, I was planning to get this motorcycle here in India and now finally my dream has come true. I believe that this motorcycle will attract the right rider who is looking for a unique, ‘one of one’ custom chopper which will make its presence felt on the road, and guess what this is completely street legal in India.”
